The band pull their influences from down in New Orleans to the Appalachian Mountains up into the folk revival of the North Eastern States and jumping the pond to the many sounds from Old Europe." -Bluegrasstoday.com https://bluegrasstoday.com/ewob-celebrates-20-years-bows-high-note/

Bluegrass, mixed with old European influences, that’s Old Salt, a mix of nationalities bringing their music with great pleasure and enthusiasm.

I wish they had warned me up front though. The first half of the gig they tested the medieval architectural endurance of the walls, and in the second half they took the roof clean off. The audience went wild, danced and sang along.

As a regular photographer at the Missy Sippy I could buy three CDs every week, which my budget does not allow, so I don’t. But here’s a band I couldn’t help buying the CD from. It’s awesome.
